Digital Impact Network

Digitalization does not stop at art and the museum either. The rapid technological developments are reflected both in innovative presentation platforms for digital art and in the digitalization of image data as the basis for the documentation and dissemination of works of art.

Meret Oppenheim digital, the Helvetia digitisation project of the Kunstmuseum Bern, is currently focusing on new forms of work documentation that are used in the field of conservation and restoration. On site, specialists will show how surfaces and three-dimensional forms are digitally captured and used in everyday museum life. Selected contemporary video and film works will also show the public how digital art can be preserved for future generations.

The following presentations will take place at 11:00, 13:00 and 14:00 (in German):

  1. Erstellen digitaler Daten: 3D-Scannen und Datenbearbeitung
Dreidimensionales Abbilden der Skulpturen von Meret Oppenheim mit Daniel Lütolf CL-Y GmbH, 3D Art Production
  2. Erhalten und Bewahren  von digitaler Daten: Dokumentation und Konservierung
Strategien für die Erhaltung von digitalisierter und digitaler Kunst mit Agathe Jarczyk, Kunstmuseum Bern
  3. Nutzen digitaler Daten: Anwendung im Museumskontext
Einblicke in Malschichten mit Matthias Läuchli und Nathalie Bäschlin, Kunstmuseum Bern
