Digitalisation is nothing new in the classroom.
From primary schools to adult education, digital learning tools are being used more and more. But there is still an ongoing debate about how useful digitalisation is in the context of learning.
This discussion is not only centred around the question of whether digitalisation is changing how we learn, but also around whether digitalisation is creating a new form of lifelong learning.
What skills will we need in the future in order to remain attractive to employers? What do children need to learn to avoid being left behind in the digital age?
Using digital tools is no longer just a question of having the right hard skills, such as programming ability – it is now also about having the relevant soft skills, such as intrinsic motivation.
We look forward to sharing some insights into this fascinating and wide-ranging discussion with you at the World Café.
